1. Obama didn't "get bin Laden." The Israelis tipped us to Abbottabad because they watch Pakstan very, very closely. What Obama did do was pour -- and continue to pour -- billions of dollars into the country that shielded bin Laden for a decade. And Obama expressed this nation's gratitude to Israel by trying to shove a pseudo-"palestinian" state down their throats, by sending bag men with millions of dollars in cash to buy the Arab vote in Israel and by completely ignoring Israeli interests -- which happen to closely parallel American interests -- with respect to Iran. Israel no longer shares badly needed intelligence with Europe (because of Europe's passionate support for BDS, settlement good labeling and other policies) and with the United States. Europe has paid the price and the United States is about to allow in several hundred thousand unvetted Syrian "refugees," many of whom will be terrorists. The only people that can vet these "refugees" are the Israelis and they won't give Obama the time of day. Iran has shown its true colors, too. All on Obama's watch. And everything that the Israelis warned us Iran would do has come to pass. See, the Iranians are terrified of the State of Israel. They are contemptuous of the United States -- that's another arrow for Obama's quiver full of disastrous policies.
2. Obama did not "stop a Depression." He has simply ordered the various government offices to change their statistical reporting. Unemployment, for example, is rising. The administration has simply ordered the GAO to report it differently. The numbers are skewed. No longer reflected in Obama's statistics are the millions of unemployed who have exhausted their unemployment insurance and do not have a job.
3. Auto industry. The Congress of the United States bailed out General Motors and Chrysler. Obama cannot take credit for that, and it isn't really clear what would have happened to the automobile industry without a bailout because Ford did not get a bailout, and Ford is the most profitable of the three. Without government-imposed restructuring, perhaps GM and Chrysler would be doing as well as Ford, perhaps better. This is a questionable feather at best, and it does not belong in Obama's cap.
4. Wall Street resurrected itself. The federal government had the good sense -- against Obama's wishes -- to stop the Bush bailout system and to let the banking industry recover on its own. And that is exactly what happened. The institutional investors that deserved to survive, survived; the rest did not. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley both rechartered as private banks. The problem was never Wall Street, and any interference on the part of Obama would have made things considerably worse.
5. Affordable medical care? You're joking. What is "affordable" about a minimum $9,000 deductible? How does a $9,000 deductible help a minimum-wage single mother waitress? The devastation to people who relied upon private medical insurance provided by their employer has been considerable. "Obamacare" clinics have been shown to be massive frauds, and seventy percent of those clinics have closed their doors. And it certainly isn't "free" medical care to anyone except the indigent, the lazy, the noncitizens and everyone else who gets "free" medical care by simply availing themselves of benefits via taxpayer revenue to which they do not contribute. Those taxpayers are also paying significantly more for their insurance coverage, in addition to paying for medical coverage for people who should not be entitled to coverage for any number of reasons -- especially the ones who are here illegally.
It has nothing to do with Obama's race, and everything to do with Obama's incredible incompetence on every conceivable level. But since you brought up race, you might want to look around. Race relations in this country have never been as polarized as they are today. We have Obama to thank for that. In case you haven't noticed, Obama is the worst racist in this country. He despises white people -- because he despises himself. We were hoping for something a little more mature in a president. What we have in Obama is a petulant, vindictive, child. His eight years in office have been a litany of failed domestic policies, an alarming decline in American stature on the international stage and a sloughing off of countries that were allies of the United States. The United States of America is an international laughingstock and a domestic mess. That is Obama's legacy. That is his ONLY legacy, and it is a disgraceful one.
