What a scam. I considered manufacturing "earthquake survival kits" when I lived in California. Only problem was, there were about 17,000 other companies doing the same thing. They're profitable...right after an earthquake, but there are long periods of drought. I couldn't see ever making any consistent cash flow on such things, so we voted no. As to bank examiners, I'd think bullet-proof vests would be more their kind of survival kit.
