Through all the evils of apartheid, Blacks in South Africa inherited a gem that not one country on the entire continent has ever had. They inherited an industrialized nation with a 1st world economy, developed financial and tech sector and an economy that was light years ahead of every economy on the continent and ahead of most Eastern European countries. They still had an educated upper class (although most were White, their were still citizens of the new country). They had the BEST agricultural sector on the continent and on of the best in the world. They were a net exporter of food, which is a great thing for any country to achieve! As with most African countries, they are bless with an abundance of natural resources that has made their mining and mineral export sector very profitable and during the apartheid years this sector became highly developed. They have a lush coastal line perfect for import/export for a good chunk of the continent, not to mention perfect for attracting tourist!
Black South Africa in effect inherited a gem. All they had to do was keep the ship moving and they would have had the FIRST 1st world industrialized nation in Africa that world has ever seen.
HOWEVER, the story doesn't have a happy ending. Blacks squandered the gem they inherited and South Africa has become a horror story. Despite what the liberal media reports the country's ecomony is in chaos. They once envied agricultural sector is in shambles. It's the most dangerous profession in the country. Merciless MONSTERS, consistently rape, murder, torture white farmers (man, woman, child and BABY alike). Many farmers leave the profession out of fear, many leave the country and many have been murdered. The government promotes these mascures. The goal like in Zimbawae is to get rid of the white farmers and replace them with black farmers. Yet this hasn't happened in either country. The sector in at crisis levels and they no longer are a net exporter and are not a net importer and it's getting worse every month. Their economy has taken a hit at every level and has looked like the banana republic not thriving economy it could have been.
If the squander of the economy wasn't bad enough, they lead in many horrific categories. They are the world leaders in AIDS infections, rape, baby rape (fucking sick), homicide and car jacking! Rape is so common that most women are raped each year! It's sick.
So why did they squander this.
