Syncretic at the least, one doesn’t vote for that sort of thing….one lives under it against their will.
Unless one is a Democrat voter.

1.Establishing the view that America is evil has succeeded beyond their wildest expectations! The Democrats have managed to create a coterie that believes that lie to the extent that they are willing to endorse, to suffer, even aide, policies and methods that cannot be considered American. And that is just why their voters accept what the party does….because it is views as resisting, opposing, America.

And that is why we are a police state.

2. “A police state describes a state where its government institutions exercise an extreme level of control over civil society and liberties. There is typically little or no distinction between the law and the exercise of political power by the executive, and the deployment of internal security and police forces play a heightened role in governance. A police state is a characteristic of authoritarian, totalitarian or illiberal regimes (contrary to a liberal democratic regime). Such governments are typically one-party states, but police-state-level control may emerge in multi-party systems as well.”

3. Every reader knows The Life and Strange Surprising Adventures of Robinson Crusoe of York, Mariner, and the author, Daniel Defoe. If you know his life outside of the book, you might consider him the father of the police state. When he wrote a pamphlet that was judged libelous, he was sent to prison.

“He obtained his freedom by approaching the Lord Treasurer with a scheme that was worthy of Machiavelli. He suggested that the government needed a network of informers to point out potential critics and enemies: in short, an army of spies

The result was that Queen Anne was prevailed upon to release Defoe from prison, and Defoe proceeded to travel the country and build up a network of agents. It would hardly be an exaggeration to call him the father of the police state. He laid down the basic rules for spying. Each agent had to appear to be an ordinary citizen; every one had to be unknown to the others. The aim was unobtrusive thought-control of the people of England. And the scheme was amazingly successful—in fact, Defoe’s network became the foundation of the British Secret Service.” Colin Wilson, "Criminal History of Mankind"

Let's continue with today's theme, and provide you with the knowledge you missed out on in government school.

4. When one imagines a police state, the image of East Germany and the Stasi come to mind. The Soviets, the Nazis, the East German Stasi all organized huge spy networks to keep tabs on, and intimidate their citizenry.

" To ensure that the people would become and remain submissive, East German communist leaders saturated their realm with more spies than had any other totalitarian government in recent history.

The Soviet Union's KGB employed about 480,000 full-time agents to oversee a nation of 280 million, which means there was one agent per 5,830 citizens.
... for the Nazi Gestapo, there was one officer for 2,000 people.
The ratio for the Stasi was one secret policeman per 166 East Germans. When the regular informers are added, these ratios become much higher: In the Stasi's case, there would have been at least one spy watching every 66 citizens!

When one adds in the estimated numbers of part-time snoops, the result is nothing short of monstrous: one informer per 6.5 citizens. It would not have been unreasonable to assume that at least one Stasi informer was present in any party of ten or twelve dinner guests."
Stasi

Now....why would the Soviets, the Nazis, the Stasi, require sooooooo many agents????
Isn't it clear?
Leftism is a failure sans coercion.

".... German demonstrators began to tear down the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989, irate East German citizens stormed the Leipzig district office of the Ministry for State Security (MfS)—the Stasi, as it was more commonly called."
Stasi

Hmmmm….and we have a political party that is just as Leftist as the Nazis, Bolsheviks,….would they endorse spying on citizens, or the other party?

You betcha'....

Would and did.

So why are criminals allowed to get out of jail with no bail policies just to commit crimes again? Why is it diseased illegals bringing drugs across our southern borders get into the country with immunity while our children are dying by those drugs a lot more than by mentally ill liberals who are allowed by the ATF&E to purchase those weapons? Oh yeah, laws are for shitfucks like you but not for those thugs to intimidate the rest of us.

5. What is interesting in a conversation that is heading toward indicting the Democrats as having a spy system, a police state……but when it comes to a CIA, we didn’t have one under the President who led America to the Left….Franklin Roosevelt.

That’s because Stalin was beloved by FDR, and he couldn’t imagine needing spies in Russia.

Novelist Daniel Silva puts it this way:

" You see, before the war, we had no intelligence service-not areal one, anyway...our intelligence operation inside the Soviet Union consisted of a couple of guys from Harvard and a teletype machine. When we suddenly found ourselves nose to nose with the Russian bogeyman, we didn’t know shit about him. His strengths, his weaknesses, his intentions. And what’s more, we didn’t know how to find out. That another war was imminent was a foregone conclusion. And what did we have? F**k all. No networks, no agents. Nothing. We were lost, wandering in the desert. We needed help. ...General Reinhard Gehlen, head of the German General Staff’s Foreign Armies East branch, Hitler’s chief spy on the Russian front.

“Gehlen was the answer to our prayers. The man had spent a career spying on the Soviet Union, and now he was going to show us the way. We brought him into this country.... . He told us what we wanted to hear. Stalinism was an evil unparalleled in human history. Stalin intended to subvert the countries of western Europe from within and then move against them militarily. Stalin had global ambitions. Be not afraid, Gehlen told us. I have networks, I have sleepers and stay-behind cells. I know everything there is to know about Stalin and his henchmen. Together, we will crush him.”

We used Nazi intel post war just as we used Nazi rocket scientists.

Reinhard Gehlen

As head of the Gehlen Organization he sought cooperation with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), formed in 1947, resulting in the Gehlen Organization ultimately becoming closely affiliated with the CIA.

The Repubs have a police state to control uteruses and free movement of the individual.

6. Of course, having America become a police state would not be out of the norm for an individual raised by Bolsheviks, and tutored in the Saul Alinsky school of political action.....Hussein Obama.
Remember this?

"The White House wants people to believe they are losing the health care debate because “scary … videos are starting to percolate on the internet” that are spreading “disinformation” about Obama’s health care plan.
The White House is even encouraging Obama supporters to help them identify people spreading this “disinformation.” The official White House blog now asks Americans: “If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to [email protected].”

This, in America???

Bet they never taught you about the Stasi, in government school, and the Democrats channelling them:

"One of its main tasks was spying on the population, mainly through a vast network of citizens turned informants, and fighting any opposition by overt and covert measures, including hidden psychological destruction of dissidents (Zersetzung, literally meaning decomposition)."

Every once in a while, the left does have their FAUX PAU moments..

Earlier Democrats liked the idea of a police state, and one can only puzzle over whether the party has changed.

7. The first true enterprise of this kind was established in the in the United States under the 20th century’s first fascist dictator: Democrat/Racist/Progressive Woodrow Wilson. During WW I, under the Progressive Woodrow Wilson, American was a fascist nation.

a. Had the world’s first modern propaganda ministry

b. Political prisoners by the thousands were harassed, beaten, spied upon and thrown in jail for simply expressing private opinions.

c. The national leader accused foreigners and immigrants of injecting treasonous ‘poison’ into the American bloodstream

d. Newspapers and magazines were closed for criticizing the government

e. Almost 100,000 government propaganda agents were sent out to whip up support for the regime and the war

f. College professors imposed loyalty oaths on their colleagues

g. Nearly a quarter million ‘goons’ were given legal authority to beat and intimidate ‘slackers’ and dissenters

h. Leading artists and writers dedicated their work to proselytizing for the government.

The Woodrow Wilson Propaganda Ministry

George Creel was named to head the Committee on Public Information, the CPI. How liberal was he: “served as police commissioner in Denver, depriving policemen of guns and nightsticks”(www.jstor.org/stable/845226) Fear was a vital tool, “an important element to be bred into the civilian population.” (Goldberg, “Liberal Fascism,” p.109) He recruited about 75,000 "Four Minute Men," who spoke about the War at social events for an ideal length of four minutes, considering that the average human attention span was judged at the time to be four minutes.( George Creel - Wikipedia)

The official position of the US government's Committee on Public Information was: "The force of an idea lies in its inspirational value. It matters very little if it is true or false." Wilson’s Sedition Act, May 1918 banned “uttering, printing, writing, or publishing any disloyal, profane, scurrilous, or abusive language about the United States government or the military.

The postmaster general had authority to deny mailing privileges to any publication: at least 75 were banned. The supply of newsprint was halted by the War Industries Board of any journal that disparaged the draft.

The censorship of “The Masses” was prosecuted under the Espionage Act of June 1917, because it carried a cartoon proclaiming that it was a war to “make the world safe for capitalism,” and editorials praising draft resistors. Six editors’ trial resulted in hung juries.

He proclaimed that the greatest threat came from ‘hyphenated’ Americans: “I cannot say too often- any man who carries a hyphen about with him carries a dagger that he is ready to plunge into the vitals of this Republic whenever he gets ready.” http://query.nytimes.com/mem/archive-free/pdf?_r=1&res=980DE6D6133FE233A2575BC0A9649D946496D6CF

Difference between Watergate and the Obama Spying?
Watergate was a failed attempt by a political party to spy on their political enemies.

  • Let’s not forget that Democrat Franklin Roosevelt’s undying admiration of Fascist Mussolini had FDR imposing Mussolini’s Fascism on America, calling it the New Deal.
And FDR was certainly not above imposing a police state…

In The Roosevelt Myth, historian John T. Flynn describes how the NRA’s partisans sometimes conducted “business”: The NRA was discovering it could not enforce its rules. Black markets grew up. Only the most violent police methods could procure enforcement.

In Sidney Hillman’s garment industry the code authority employed enforcement police. They roamed through the garment district like storm troopers. They could enter a man’s factory, send him out, line up his employees, subject them to minute interrogation, take over his books on the instant. Night work was forbidden.

Flying squadrons of these private coat-and-suit police went through the district at night, battering down doors with axes looking for men who were committing the crime of sewing together a pair of pants at night. But without these harsh methods many code authorities said there could be no compliance because the public was not back of it.

11.The signature event of a police state: concentration camps for American citizens.

Let's not sugar coat it.....Hitler's friend, FDR, called them just what they were:

"They were forcibly removed to 10 concentration camps. The government officially called them “relocation centers,” but Roosevelt himself used the words “concentration camp” in a recommendation as early as 1936, as did a military proposal in 1942. The occupants were kept behind barbed wire, and armed guards kept them from leaving."
FDR’s concentration camps were a warning, not a model

Again?
".....Roosevelt himself used the words “concentration camp” in a recommendation as early as 1936, as did a military proposal in 1942."

Executive Order 9066
was a United States presidential executive order signed and issued during World War II by United States President Franklin D. Roosevelt on February 19, 1942. This order authorized the Secretary of War to prescribe certain areas as military zones, clearing the way for the incarceration of Japanese Americans, German Americans, and Italian Americans in U.S. concentration camps.
