Who Owns the Media?

The truth is that the media is not owned or controlled by Jews, but by a group of large corporations, each of which has many stockholders. Corporate stockholders choose the Board of Directors which then sets corporate policy and directs corporate operations.

The second largest stockholder of Fox news is a Saudi prince:

Facebook group: The No. 2 owner of Fox News is Prince Alwaleed bin Talal who said 'a strong American government is not good for us'

Saudi Arabia does not recognize Israel.

It's so much easier to yell, "It's DA JOOOOOOOOOSSSSSS", doncha know?

BINGO!

People blame the Jews for everything because they are too stupid to know the real cause and too lazy
to research it.

Ah, the low information nitwits are at it again with the old "Oh my God, a Saudi prince is the No. 2 owner of Fox News Channel!"

And a while back one of the lowest of the low info clowns posted in here that, because of Prince Alwaleed's "ownership position" in FNC, he was in control of all of FNCs programming! Predictably, the lefty dopes swallowed that Kool-Aid by the gallons and thereafter posted even more nonsense that did nothing but highlight their utter ignorance of the matter. Stupid for sure, but highly entertaining for the high information folks in here.

So, as hard as it might be, I will attempt to simplify things for you mathematically and boardroom knowledge-challenged idiots in the hopes you won't further embarress yourselves in here in the future.

The Prince originally invested in Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. media conglomerate to the tune of about 5% of NC's worth and subsequently upped it to around 7%. Now, if you spend a few seconds with your calculators, make the correct entries and such, you should come to the realization that 93% of NC was owned by others, primarily Murdoch himself, other family members, or family trusts. As such, the Prince had zero power to influence anything regarding NC in general, or FNC in particular. Also, his miniscule position in the company meant he had no seat on the Board of Directors, further highlighting his impotence regarding all corporate matters.

Subsequently News Corp. split into two separate corporate entities, one of which FNC was a part of. Then some time in 2014 the Prince divested most of position in the FNC entity, down to about only 1%.

Now that you know the facts feel free to carry on with your standard bullshit regarding Saudi ownership/control of FNC. The high info folks expect nothing less of you for sure.

media are controlled by those who has money. And who controls media, controls minds and elections as well.

First, a definition of media is needed. Much of the media is now the internet. Cable and even broadcast news get less and less attention as people receive news from their smartphones and devices. Thousands of little independent sites are used as news sources every day. For some folks, facebook is who guides them to the news, for others, it is yahoo or google.
