Do you agree?

.

The seeds of this disaster were sewn before Bush took office.

He sure as hell didn't help, but this started before him.

.

Yes, the seeds were sown prior to Bush, but Bush watered them.

And please don't say "CRA".

Don't be one of those idiots.

I'd say the CRA was a piece of it, but a small piece, and there were many pieces. This mess was, and is, cultural.

Obama did not cause the high unemployment, despite bizarre efforts I have seen on the part of some people to retroactively blame him for the crash.

Obama certainly carries some blame for the lack of a robust recovery from the crash. He is a significant factor in the "all equally" equation.

The CRA was the tiniest of the small pieces.

And the mess is global, not cultural.

I like this from their page:

Re-regulating Wall Street will make taxing the rich more completely unnecessary. Taxing the rich more is like making the guy who lives in a bigger house than you pay for the stuff a burglar took from you.

I'm tired of the partisan blame game....who will be the one who gets us out of it?

People are always looking behind themselves and aren't looking forward.

If we don't learn from our mistakes, we WILL get a chance to learn from them again. ;)

who is to blame.... how about

the unions.
individual greed in wanting more then you can afford.

Okay.....you keep blaming somebody else for the past. Don't worry about getting us out of this mess.
This administration is not letting a crisis go to waste, and they are stuck in that gear.
They are doing nothing to resolve the problems we are facing.

Global is a regional description. Culture is very much to blame.

NIMBY

Yep. As evidenced by Obama's attempt to spend 10 billion on congressional raises by executive order.

That's proof that he just doesn't give a shit about the fiscal stability of our country.
