I believe the tax equality in the Constitution involved everyone paying the same amount.

Now that's just plain spinning. Percentage-wise, Jan and Joe payed at a higher tax rate in taxes than Buffet based on their earnings. Therefore, they feel the pain of taxes more than Buffet because their after taxes income has been reduced at a higher rate percentage than Buffet.

You are incorrect, based on their earnings, Buffett pays a higher income tax rate than Jan and Joe.

Why would you assume he meant AGI when he said "earned"?
And why would you calculate her share of payroll taxes on her AGI?
You also don't pay taxes on your "Comprehensive household income".
Unless you're claiming people pay taxes on their Medicare, Medicaid, employer-paid health insurance premiums, food stamps, school lunches and breakfasts, housing assistance, and energy assistance?
