Daily Kos: If diplomatic attacks are a sign of weakness, Bush was the weakest of all

Donald Rumsfeld was Secretary of War Defense between 2001 and 2006, so none of this should be news to him:
June 14, 2002, U.S. consulate in Karachi, Pakistan
Suicide bomber kills 12 and injures 51.

February 20, 2003, international diplomatic compound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Truck bomb kills 17.

February 28, 2003, U.S. consulate in Karachi, Pakistan
Gunmen on motorcycles killed two consulate guards.

July 30, 2004, U.S. embassy in Taskkent, Uzbekistan
Suicide bomber kills two.

December 6, 2004, U.S. consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Militants stormed and occupied perimeter wall. Five killed, 10 wounded.

March 2, 2006, U.S. consulate in Karachi, Pakistan
Suicide car bomber killed four, including a U.S. diplomate directly targeted by the assailants.

September 12, 2006, U.S. embassy in Damascus, Syria
Gunmen attacked embassy with grenades, automatic weapons, and a car bomb (though second truck bomb failed to detonate). One killed and 13 wounded.

January 12, 2007, U.S. embassy in Athens, Greece
A rocket-propelled grenade was fired at the embassy building. No one was injured.

July 9, 2008, U.S. consulate in Istanbul, Turkey
Armed men attacked consulate with pistols and shotguns. Three policemen killed.

March 18, 2008, U.S. embassy in Sana'a, Yemen
Mortar attack misses embassy, hits nearby girls' school instead.

September 17, 2008, U.S. embassy in Sana'a, Yemen
Militants dressed as policemen attacked the embassy with RPGs, rifles, grenades and car bombs. Six Yemeni soldiers and seven civilians were killed. Sixteen more were injured.

And of course, we can always count on fux to LIE -

Krauthammer Whitewashes Bush's History To Bash Obama Over Embassy Attack | Research | Media Matters for America

Krauthammer Suggested That "Under Other Presidents, Particularly Bush," "There Was No Storming Of The U.S. Embassy In Cairo." During the September 13 edition of Fox News' Special Report, as images related to the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Cairo played, Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer said: "What we're seeing on the screen is the meltdown, the collapse of the Obama policy on the Muslim world."

Hypocrites.

ANY death should be mourned and the causes and perpetrators hunted down. EXCEPT if happened on ANYONE ELSES WATCH.

who's say nobody was outraged, besides yourself?

lets try and live in the present, but nice deflection.

11 incidents over 6 years hardly compares to 23 in one week. Exactly how many of these attacks did Bush blame on an American? I would venture to say, none. So you keep trying your propaganda crap, no one has been as incompetent and appologetic as Maobama.

BTW Some one storming the embassy in Cairo is not on your list, I guess Krauthammer was right.

2009 United States Yemen, attack on Embassy

2010 United States Peshawar, Pakistan attack on Consulate[2]
2010 United States Yemen, attack on Embassy vehicle
2011 United States Damascus, Syria 2011 Syrian uprising[4]
2011 United States Kabul, Afghanistan 2011 Kabul Attacks[5]
2011 United States Ciudad Juarez, Mexico March[3]
2011 United States Nuevo Laredo, Mexico Consulate bombed April
2011 United States Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina [6]
2012 United States Abuja, Nigeria Embassy attack Mar
2012 United States Peshawar, Pakistan attack on Consulate Sept 2[4]
2012 United States Cairo, Egypt 2012 attack on the American Embassy in Egypt
2012 United States Benghazi, Libya 2012 U.S. Consulate attack in Benghazi

2012 United States Sudan 2012 U.S. Embassy attack Khartoum

Look at just the last 2 years alone. I quit looking for more

And you are right, any death is too much, but what makes them even worse is when it deals with having not had security to even attempt to be able to stop them, when they have begged for just that.

lol, no one can do outrage over stuff that happened YEARS ago like you..
man get a friggen grip

I am sorry but when in any of those incidents did Bush have his Secretary to the UN get up in front of the MSM and lie?

Yes people have been killed over the years by Muslim extremists to that there is not doubt. But the deaths of the Ambassador was preventable and the Obama administration didn't have to lie about it for so long. If anything it is the left that should be accused of faux outrage. Used to be they paraded around the death toll in Afghanistan, not no more with this president.

luddly aka asswipe all of the incidences you listed caused outrage among us.

The difference is none of us blamed it on a video you moron. We blamed it on terrorist acts. You still don't get it do you?
