Many points to cover:
1. John Murtha has disgraced his core, his country, his district, and his party. This is not the first time that John Murtha "forgot" the truth. In my opinion, Murtha is the most Liberal Rep. in the House. Murtha has joined the "Blame America First" crowd. He has turned on our troops, and he has become anti-American. Murtha's Liberalsim will soon catch up with him.
2. President Bush has mismanaged the war in Iraq, however, he is not wrong. We waited too long to catch Iraq moving their WMD to Syria. Some intelligence reports have reported the possibility of this happening. Why don't we hear about it? Another point, we did find Chemical WMD in Iraq. 500 deadly gas missiles were found buried. Why don't we hear about this? It's because it is not within the "Left Wing Agenda Template." Fitting the truth into it is like fitting a sphere block in a square hole.
The President is considered a statesman. He doesn't do what is popular sometimes. He does what is right. If we had more politicians like him, we would see our society turn around to what it once was: honorable, respectful, and full of integrity. Sometimes the unpopular thing is the right thing to do. Let's use the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Strike during the Reagan administration. The economy was at the verge of shut-down if something was not done. The ATC union strike was prohibited by law because it was a governmental job. In order to keep the economy at full force, he fired those people after giving them an ultimatum. Unpopular? Yes. Was it the right thing? Yes. Did it help him in the long run? Yes. President Bush's situation is different, but the idea behind it remains the same. History WILL prove him right on Iraq and global terrorism. Terrorists were within Iraq. This was proven by our invasion. Training bases and plans were found. But according to the media, they never existed. Was Hussein directly connected to them? No, but that doesn't mean he didn't know it, or that he didn't overlook it.
