Where is Murtha?

Many points to cover:

1. John Murtha has disgraced his core, his country, his district, and his party. This is not the first time that John Murtha "forgot" the truth. In my opinion, Murtha is the most Liberal Rep. in the House. Murtha has joined the "Blame America First" crowd. He has turned on our troops, and he has become anti-American. Murtha's Liberalsim will soon catch up with him.

2. President Bush has mismanaged the war in Iraq, however, he is not wrong. We waited too long to catch Iraq moving their WMD to Syria. Some intelligence reports have reported the possibility of this happening. Why don't we hear about it? Another point, we did find Chemical WMD in Iraq. 500 deadly gas missiles were found buried. Why don't we hear about this? It's because it is not within the "Left Wing Agenda Template." Fitting the truth into it is like fitting a sphere block in a square hole.

The President is considered a statesman. He doesn't do what is popular sometimes. He does what is right. If we had more politicians like him, we would see our society turn around to what it once was: honorable, respectful, and full of integrity. Sometimes the unpopular thing is the right thing to do. Let's use the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Strike during the Reagan administration. The economy was at the verge of shut-down if something was not done. The ATC union strike was prohibited by law because it was a governmental job. In order to keep the economy at full force, he fired those people after giving them an ultimatum. Unpopular? Yes. Was it the right thing? Yes. Did it help him in the long run? Yes. President Bush's situation is different, but the idea behind it remains the same. History WILL prove him right on Iraq and global terrorism. Terrorists were within Iraq. This was proven by our invasion. Training bases and plans were found. But according to the media, they never existed. Was Hussein directly connected to them? No, but that doesn't mean he didn't know it, or that he didn't overlook it.

Gunny,
You should know by now that the left is not concerned with truth, only in what can return them to power.

Right, and you on right are concerned with the truth more than those on the left.

What a partisan ignorant remark.

There just as many righty liars as lefty. Maybe right now even more.

WRONG. these haditha type events are exactly why the majority of iraqis want the US out of Iraq. calling soldiers out on massacre's doesn't make one anti-US. It means you actually believe in American ideals. people you build a democracy in iraq by going around killing and torturing innocents and then letting the perpetrators get out scott free. Murtha is a hero and a patriot.

LOL. Yeah he mismanaged it all right. Where the F@CK is OBL? I'd be dammed ashamed if i were stupid enough to have voted for bush.

the president is considered a Jack@ass. the iraq war is going to go down as the biggest blunder in the history of american foreign policy. The only way history is going to reflect favorably on that monkey is if it's a lie.

Documents and photos suggest foul play in death of Private Johnson

By Sandra Jordan Of the St. Louis American
Wednesday, June 4, 2008 10:43 PM CDT

Who killed PFC. LaVena L. Johnson?

The Army claims the 5’1” African-American soldier from North County died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound with a rifle on July 19, 2005.

Her father, John H. Johnson, Ph.D. of Florissant, said color photos and documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act from the military suggest otherwise.

“The House Armed Services Committee is looking into Private Johnson’s case, but no decisions have been made regarding a formal investigation,” said Lara Battles, press secretary for the committee.

Her father, who previously served in the U.S. Army and worked and retired as a civilian personnel specialist for the Army, said efforts to obtain a CD-ROM of color photos taken by Army investigators were unfruitful until U.S. Rep. Wm. Lacy Clay spoke about the case at the Pat Tillman and Jessica Lynch Congressional hearing.

“Clay put them on the spot during the Jessica Lynch hearings, so they sent (the images) to me,” Johnson said, calling the photos “horrible.”

He said the pictures and documents from the incident proved that his daughter had been brutalized - raped, beaten, shot and set on fire.

more anti-america media bias i guess

ah...yeah let's just right em all a blank check them.

brilliant thinking there little guy.

To make a more civilized point than "doeton."

Let's go through your points.

1. Iraqis are happy that the United States helped topple the regime that was suppressing them. The media wants you to think that so you will take up their agenda. The Iraqi people are not revolting. If they didn't want us there, I am sure they would attempt to do something about it. I would like to see your "polling data" showing how many Iraqi's want us out, just so I can tell you why MOST polls are extremely inaccurate, and so I can check your source.

2. Osama Bin Laden has been at the terroristic "hiding game" for a lot of years. One man in a foreign country is hard to find. I don't think George Bush is at fault because he isn't there looking for him. It would seem that you are hiding your disrespect for the troops who have been unable to find him behind your blaming of President Bush. The troops are doing the BEST they can. Let us not forget that your GOD Bill Clinton gave the order to basically LET BIN LADEN GO when troops found him in a building during his "God-Like" administration. Clinton (well actually the military operatives) basically had him in their sights... and the President let him go. You want to talk about an "Ass Monkey" as you put it.... I think Bush should be the least of your worries.

3. Again, you miss the point about a Statesman. President Bush does not sway with public opinion. He knows what needs to be done, and the approval rating "polls" (done nationally) show him as unpopular. What you don't see is state by state polls that show him much more favorable (overall) than the national polling? Again, I'm not much on polling, but it seems the Liberal agenda is served through national polls (that don't even sample enough people to make a small town).

4. John Murtha is a traitor, in my opinion. He is not a patriot. He throws his Anti-American values to server the Democratic Purpose.... which is DEFEAT in Iraq. The surge worked.... where is he now? No where to be seen. He is hiding because we are WINNING. Murtha couldn't make a pimple on the President's butt. Murtha is worthless.

5. The story about the African American that was shot was mis-reported by the St. Louis American. I will look for the other version of the story, with some quotes from top Military Officials. I should be able to find it tonight. It is horrible, no matter how you look at it.

Well instead of blaming shit on everyone else....why don't you look forward to a solution. You want to blame everyone for electing another ass-clown while the other ass-clown couldn't gain enough votes. You act as though our political process is free and democratic.

Is sounding like 3 pebbles in a tin can rolling downhill the best you can do?

Also, do you troll other boards? Just wondering since you only make it around here about once a week. Thought you might have a board for every day or something.

Only if you're a liberal is all of this true. Iraq is a success, we are winning and history will show was the biggest mistake of Bush's presidency was listening to dillweeds such as yourself and not nuking Iran.

I think the term "success" might be a bit premature.

Bush listens to the people. I thought Cheney said that their views were not important.

I somehow doubt that history will view Bush's greatest mistake as not laying waste to another country with nuclear weapons (and killing hundreds of thousands or millions of people we claim are currently being oppressed), especially when there are so many mistakes to choose from.

And another one is dismissed. That leaves just one marine Charged and as I recall he has several high ranking officers that will testify he was following the ROE when he ordered the houses cleared. And the witness against him for the supposed 5 murders at the car is weak as hell.

Just when will Murtha apologize for his ignorant rant against the Marine Corps?
