how do I find the answer to my question on "search", start a thread? crazy!

This board has been all messed up lately. I just now had an incident where I couldn't even access this site. I wonder if it has anything to do with all the animated ads? I don't even know if those are still here because I use an ad blocker because it was a mess trying to load a page with those animated ads.
PS: Ad blockers are great for youtube too!
