1. I think he very well could be, seeing he went to the racist Rev. Wright for 20 years.

OK, let's say there was a private university that was practicing racially discriminatory policies. And let's say a president tried to intervene on that university's behalf to help it gain tax exempt status with the IRS. If that president was a Democrat you would call him a racist. If he was a Republican you would not.

It turns out that president was Ronald Reagan (see the Bob Jones Univ. case of 1981). I don't personally think he was being a racist. I think he was playing the standard political game of helping out the people who backed you for office. BUT there are plenty of people who say he was being a racist and you can certainly see why they would try to spin it that way, especially if they were liberals who just wanted to demean their ideological enemies.

When a political figure gets called a racist, you can bet your ass that 99% of the time it is being leveled by his or her political opposition. It really is funny how you almost never see people on either side of the aisle playing the race card against their own political friends. Race aside, I can't believe anyone would question that those cops acted stupidly. Arrested a man, in his own home, for daring to have the audacity to question their supreme authority. Yeah, I don't care what color any of the participants are, those are some stupid cops; Obnoxious and arrogant to boot. They should all be fired.
