When it comes to matters of science, who are the GOP experts? When a Republican says vaccines cause autism, where does that expertise come from? Young earth? Anti evolution? Republicans are getting their scientific knowledge from somewhere. So where is that "where"?

Well lets see here. Where is your cult leader/guru Albert the bore Gores major in Science/climate/weather, his doctorate from what school and his degrees.

and since we're on that topic , where is John the Lurch's degrees from and where that fraud/phony Obama's degrees in SCIENCE from?

We'll wait for you to post that first

Most of these people like rdeanie has cast g-d out of their lives so they have to go and find some new one and they've decided it should SCIENTIST or a politician with a D next to its name. as if they were never wrong in anything

Notice how you can't get a right winger to answer any question? Most of them have pretty much the same beliefs about science so I suspect there must be a "source". Some place it all comes from. Is it "Michelle Bachmann"? "Sara Palin"? Who?

The same place where Dems get their bad science from: talking heads and personal agendas and outright stupidity.

You get Dems on Capitol Hill who think islands tip over and men have planted the flag on Mars. Should the entire Dem party be tarred as morons or do they get a pass while you face-palm over their nonsense?

There was even an article in The Atlantic last year over this. It isn't that a bunch of Republicans aren't morons when it comes to science, it's that Democrats are just as bad but don't get called on it.

The Republican Party Isn t Really the Anti-Science Party - The Atlantic

This is what I answered under "Join the Discussion" at your link:

Obama cut the Federal government funding of designing new space craft. Yea, the part about going it alone. At the same time, under this administration, there is a record number of private industries making their own space craft while working with NASA like:
Armadillo Aerospace
Bigelow Aerospace
Blue Origin
Interorbital Systems
PlanetSpace
Virgain Galactic
SpaceX
and more.
Some are already moving stuff between the space station and back. When Obama was saying let's mine the asteroids, Republicans were saying let's go to the moon? Huh?

That article is such a ridiculous apology to the Republicans and so untrue. Look at the number of scientists who fled the GOP. Look at the problems Bush and the GOP had with scientists during his entire administration. Worse, the author referred to himself as an atheist. Republicans welcome atheists about as much as they welcome gays and minorities.

I'm going to have to go see whose behind this "Atlantic". Maybe the Heritage Foundation?

Now Staph, welcome to the dumb fuck club. I don't recall ever having posted a link to an Al Gore speech or article. I don't remember Crick, or Oregenicman doing so, either. Mostly we refer to people like Dr. James Hansen, Dr. Micheal Mann, or Dr. Richard Alley.

The President is not supposed to be a scientist, he is supposed to be a manager. One who takes advice from real experts, not pretenders like your fake British Lord, or the undegreed ex-TV weatherman.

However, since you chose to belittle ex-vice President Gore, consider that after he left politics, he took a modest fortune and turned it into a large one by investing in the high tech sector when it was on a downer. He gathered up data and advice from the leading climate experts in the world, and made an award winning documentory on what we are doing to the climate. He got a peice of the Nobel, and many other awards for that peice of work. What have you ever done with your life, other than post inane comments about your bettors?
