What You Do On Your Cell Phone Could Come Back To Haunt You

As far as Big Brother is concerned, nothing that you do on your cell phone is ever private.

And if the government really wants to see what is on your cell phone, they are going to get that information one way or another, even if that means resorting to physical violence. On Monday, NBC News provided us with yet another glaring example of how the United States is being transformed into a Big Brother police state. On January 1st, Akram Shibly and Kelly McCormick from Buffalo, New York were coming back home from a trip to Toronto, and they didn’t anticipate any unusual problems when they got to the border. Unfortunately for them, U.S. Customs & Border Protection agents decided to take their cell phones, demanded their passwords, and kept them in custody for the next two hours as they searched for anything that might be incriminating on those phones.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well who ever doesn't believe it or thinks it's a joke guess when it happens to you , you'll change those thoughts real quick to bad it will be to late at that point lol.

They gave up their passwords. That's on them. You just tell them no and if they lock you up get a lawyer. It would never stick in court without probable cause. They have nothing to charge you with.

I have a 2008 flip phone. What they will see is pics of the museum that I can't seem to down load,Pics of the kids making faces from 2008 when my daughter owned the phone, a bunch of unanswered messages from telemarketers offering me a free cruise, and if they listen in to my conversations which are few, they will hear "honey do we have enough toilet paper, peanut butter and milk I forgot to check". Yeah my life is so exciting, have at it big brother and try not to fall asleep. lol

It's doing more than you might realize and it still tracks you and if your kids lets say aren't informed of this imagine what the are doing that ties into you, their sisters, brothers, it tracks and connects everyone.
It runs deep and it can all be used against you including a grocery list.

I barely use it and usually only call the house phone. Now my kids all own iPhones as does my husband so yeah everything they say and do is on that phone. I'm sure the government knows everything including what time they shit. I'm sure the government knows about me too but from this computer and not my antique cell phone as I rarely use the damn thing. Matter of fact It's been dead for three days now because I keep forgetting to charge it. What can I say, I don't want to be a phone zombie. :dunno:

Charging documents have to have evidence to accompany them.

By all means, what would they charge you with and what evidence would they use to back it up? Be specific.

You are guilty until proven innocent.

in modern times? Women just tell us to, "get used to it".

Ok, you still didn't answer the question. I asked what they would charge you with if they confiscated your phone and demanded to look through it without a warrant and you refused to give up your password.

So try again.

They can and will find a reason to charge you esp. if you do not know your rights.

Like the cops who tried telling this guy he wasn't allowed to record him, little did the cop know the guy he pulled over was an attorney.

If they suspect something on your phone , it doesn't matter if they can get into it at that moment you can still go to court and they can still try and force the issue of opening that phone.

Of course every case is different, those with money can get off no the courts never getting into that phone.

But all a cop has to say is they lets say suspect you have child porn on ur phone that's all it will take...

The law can charge you with anything they want true or not. GUILTY until proven INNOCENT.
