It's obvious that the republican party has based their whole campaign platforms off of "we're not Hillary", just like the Democrats were the "We're not Bush" platform in 04. So what do you guys think the republicans will do if Obama is the nominee? They haven't been attacking him, like they have Hillary. Do you think if McCain wins the nomination, that he will even stand a chance against Obama? Everyone seems to like Obama as a person, leader, and speaker. Even the world is backing Obama. Africans like him b/c he father was from Africa. Germans are calling him the Black JFK. Obama might actually be the man who can bring our country back to the reputation of being the Good Guys in world politics.

Admittedly, Africans and Germans are both a powerful voting interest in American elections; nevertheless, I think McCain can handle it.

They'll smear Obama with lies about him being a radical muslim.

That said, enthusiasm always counts in elections. Republicans hate their choices, and many, many of them hate McCain.

It will be entertaining in 6 months to see them put on a fake game face, and come on here to sing McCain's praises.

Don't ever underestimate the republican ability to revise history and previous statemnents.

I never said we went to war in Iraq for WMDs!
