Something to hope for. Really have had it with the DFL and GOP.
The party should focus more on congressional seats and focus less on the big prize until a real grass roots starts.

1 - Non responsive. Whatever you said don't make sense. Pot will be legal within a few years unless America undergoes a radical change that displaces both the Republicans and Democrats

2- You can reform the Libertarian Party position on abortion. Like you know, there aren't that many people in positions of power in that Party

3 - Open borders are a reality - not something you believe in. They've existed before the first colonists and have existed since. What has not been discussed / debated is the alternative. A militarized border requiring National ID, a suspension of Constitutional Liberties, and 24 / 7 / 365 surveillance is not a very good idea.

There are better and less costly alternatives that have yet been discussed

4 - Yes, we have laws, but we need better laws. In addition, laws that cannot be enforced aren't worth the paper they're printed on. The United States has 14 MILLION people with criminal records and the most people incarcerated than anywhere on earth. Most of those people have not actually committed a crime. In other words they have not jeopardized anyone else's rights and, consequently, should not be imprisoned for violating statutory laws.

The Libertarian Party is overran by fascists. They have no tolerance for people promoting libertarian positions. For example, their support for government licensing same-sex marriage. SSM provides not one iota of liberty to any homosexual. SSM only serves to promote tyranny, as a foundation for anti-discrimination laws and the use of tax dollars to promote a lifestyle which is abhorrent to a significant number of Americans.

Not one iota of liberty... except in the Orwellian sense as Libtards have redefined freedom -- forcing others to let you rape them, figuratively speaking. Practically every major platform position of the Libertarian Party in the past presidential election has the practical result of promoting tyranny.

If I went to their LP meetings, I'd be booted. Like violent antifa pigs, they'd accuse me of hate and intolerance, blah blah blah. They even boast of their website, "Libertarians say marriage equality only one step toward ending legal discrimination..." Uh, discrimination is liberty.

They may get the most media coverage, but there are real Libertarians that would like to gain control of the Party. Bear that in mind.

They lose liberals and moderates on healthcare and education. They lose liberals further on economic freedom, lax gun control, taxation, spending, ease of regulation (esp environmental) and role of government (which is what wins over conservatives). But they lose most conservatives on their open border and liberal immigration policies.

In the end they appeal to very few and those who deserve a viable 3rd option.

So "open borders and liberal (sic) immigration policies are the only reasons you have for not supporting the Libertarian Party as a conservative???

The American middle class, and most of the middle classes in western countries for that matter, have become incapable of ruling themselves; this has been true since the late 1960's. Dreaming up cool new Party names and slogans n stuff isn't going to help them.
