What should the US response be?

the neo-cons aren't the freaking problem, anti-semite.
Shove that "anti-semite" crap up your ass, bitch!

Why are we funding (and supporting) al Qaeda in Syria?

With the US now openly arming, supporting, and literally “cheering” Al Qaeda in Syria, it is clear that the “War on Terror” is an unprecedented geopolitical fraud perpetuated at the cost of millions of lives destroyed and an incalculable social and economic toll.
All this crap goes back to the PNAC, an American terrorist organization.

What should the US response be to the attacks on its missions in Egypt and Libya?

Personally I think a firm and decisive response is needed to drive home the message that these kinds of attacks will have an unbearable cost for those who attempt them.

In Libya the government has already apologized and condemned the attack, and this should be acknowledged. As a further step the Libyan government should provide all necessary information as to which groups were behind this attack. They should then be targeted for military elimination by US forces.

In Egypt the US should also demand an apoloy from the government and an unequivocal condemnation of the attack there. The US government should order its staff to take down the black flag that was hung up there and it should be destroyed. Furthermore the Egyptian government should be told to immediately arrest the organizers of the demonstrations and to make clear that anybody calling for violence against the US will also be arrested. It should clamp down on extremist groups. If it fails to act, all aid to Egypt should be cancelled as well as all supply of military material and a boycot of Egyptian goods and travel to Egypt put in place.

Not going to happen.

Now back in the day Russia would have unloaded. But us....we write strong letters. When we do fight we do so with our hands tied.

We dont need another drawn out war. We dont fight to win wars just objectives, we dont want to make them mad while shooting them. God help us if a country voices disapproval.

We will suddenly want to model our health care systems after them.

In the confusion surrounding the murders of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya yesterday, the Libyan government, which exists due to the military intervention of the US and NATO, initially left the impression that loyalists to dead dictator Moammar Qaddafi conducted the assassinations. CBS, however, now reports that the Libyan government has changed its tune. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and the other diplomatic personnel got moved to another building by Libyan security forces when the consulate was attacked, and then betrayed by them to the attackers.
Security at the consulate was apparently provided by Libyan nationals hired by the United States. While security for American embassies is typically provided by our own Marines, the two Marines reported killed in yesterday’s attacks appear not to have been stationed at the embassy, but were sent there from another unknown location as the violence erupted. There is also no indication if these two Marines were the only American military personnel on site at the time of Ambassador Stevens’s death.

U.S. officials: Deadly Libya attack likely planned

U.S. officials believe that an attack on a U.S. Consulate in Libya resulting in the death of an American ambassador may have been planned and not solely the actions of a spontaneous mob demonstrating against an online video ridiculing Islam's Prophet Muhammad.

"This was a coordinated attack, more of a commando-style event," House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers, R-Mich., told CBS News Capitol Hill producer Jill Jackson. "It had both coordinated fire... direct fire and indirect fire. There appeared to be military maneuvers approaching the facility."

The one that would be most effective. but neither party would even consider would be to cut all aid to those countries. Not a dime.

Not too long ago we would move a carrier group into the area and conduct
training missions like fly a few planes from time to time to let the folks know we were close by.

Now...who frigging knows.
We will get the usual left wing experts like Bill Maher and Arianna Huffington to blame the US
for all of this...

I guess now we just accept these murders and that's it...Obama goes back into campaign mode and it's
over.

What should the US response be?

Invade Israel and force em to go fight in Syria.

Let em clean up their own shit for a change.
I think we should invade Mexico.

That'll put a stop to this shit.

I like it! It'll cut transportation down to nuttin! Or we could just send drones outta San Diego.. get all the video game kids on it!
