I am leaving the Senate out of this as most that want term limits seem to want two terms for their senators, but the house gets a wide variety of responses.

Trump sounds serious about term limits and House Speaker Ryan came out in support of them as well, so we might get them after all.

Would you share your opinion in this poll?

This is just another blatantly obvious Trump lie of course... but I guess if it were somehow real then term limits should allow for longer than a Senate term for popular representation's sake... so I would argue 5 terms for 10 years as a maximum. And 2 terms max for members of the Senate for a total of 12 years.

A more important question would be how could you implement term limits? The president doesn't have the authority, and the states won't do it. Did Trump make another promise that he knows he can;t keep?
