I saw this on ABC News, and after the guy says something to the effect of "that being the closest he's ever come to death", which surprisingly, came with no sound edits - I would have shit my pants in great audio detailed commentary had I been filming that... but anyway, afterward, Diane Sawyer said that "the Earth doesn't care if humans are in the way".
On behalf of Mom, I want to dispute that. It's not that she doesn't care, she's just been around long enough to understand what a major part of life that death is. She's in it for the long haul... like any good mother, Mom just wants to see her little bastards reach for the stars. Bumps and bruises along the way happen. WYGD
