What is the hammerhead bomb?

There are 4 types of nuclear weapons --

- A-bombs

- H-bombs

- N-bombs

- EMP bombs

The N-bomb and the EMP bombs are closely related. Both us a small 1kt nuclear bomb. The difference will be the casing. The N-bomb will have a thick steel casing and the emp bomb will have a thin aluminum casing. Historians and planners still dream up uses for these little nasty things but, in the end, no real world use can be found for either one.

There was a movie on the Sony channel where in some African virus outbreak, the pentagon dropped a "non-nuclear 5-mile hammerhead bomb" on the place. What is a hammerhead bomb?

And is there a bomb that is not nuclear but has a 5-mile radius?

IIRC the Hammerhead was the nickname of the South African atomic bomb.
