When a controversy arises in the TSA, I blame the individuals involved, not the TSA itself. I think that is simple logic.

It's absolutely necessary.

One more 9/11 is one more to many.

Do you really think people going through you luggage and strip searching granny are going to stop another 9/11?

If they didn't, then we would have a guaranteed repeat of 9/11. How do you not see that?

:lmao:

I don't see it b/c they are nothing more that a Fed version of mall-cops.

I saw the training involved. The only thing different is the ability to look at an x-ray.

the Feds concentrating on prevention, BEFORE anything gets to the ports has been VASTLY more succesfull.

What the hell? Before they get there? How would that security system work exactly?

You're making my day.

It's called the FBI and the CIA working together, investigating what's going on and who's doing what.

Yes.

Along with common sense laws. Like banning box cutters and mandating sky marshals.

ok, I'll give you Sky Marshals, but they aint TSA.

oh and fyi; A Jap company developed ceramic knives that work better than metal ones. And guess what?

Metal detectors can't detect them.

Let me get this straight: you believe that the CIA and FBI would be able to detect any potential threat BEFORE anyone arrives at the airport? ANY threat whatsoever? How could they exactly? Are you suggesting we should live under a totalitarian regime where that is feasible?

How would that end up being more effective?

damn, you really are uninformed.

well this has been going on since 9/11 and is what has actually prevented anything from occurring. Minus 3 local morons trying shit on their own.

oh, and fyi; The TSA, that you now support fully, was an idea the left hated when Bush came up with them.

there's a reason my sig line is what it is.

That's fine.

That's why you incorporate layered security protocols.

So if Tweedle dumb doesn't catch them, Tweedle Dee will?

again, someone just walked onto a jet with a loaded gun in her purse.

You start with not allowing certain people to fly.
