Die Hard was good because Bruce Willis’ character felt actual pain. He bled when he got hit. People could feel for the character. He got physically beaten up and overcame the odds to win. That said, Die Hard, Empire Strikes Back, and the guilty pleasure Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

What did you think about Aliens and Blade Runner ???

Aliens was good for the time period. Holds up pretty well as a good scary movie, Blade Runner was good, but I read the book before watching the movie. The movie wasn’t too far off from the book, and I liked Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer’s performances.
