"Fox news goals"? Americans are in trouble only when media goals become an extension of the administration. The media goal during the Ruby Ridge siege by federal officers was to justify the federal government even when the FBI was ordered to take out everyone in sight of their scopes and Randy Weaver's wife was shot through the face while she was holding an 18th month old child in her arms. The FBI sniper was indicted by a local grand jury but the case was quietly dismissed by the administration. The media goal in the Waco assault was to justify an incredible sight of American tanks assaulting an American village. In the case of the Bundy siege the Fox coverage was correct in every sense of the word.
