Weapons for personal use

Get some, Russkie. I am the man! I top whole trees out with a saw like this, 40-50 feet in the air. I pie it, and have it all come down.

PS: He's a pussy for bitching about getting the bar and chain on the saw.

Boy, at what angle do you sharpen the chain for transverse and longitudinal sawing?

All I know is 30 degrees, and I can eyeball it.

I call bullshit, and say PISS OFF.
You put so many bags on your face ... even disgustingly recall ...
I answer you because you are not rude ,,

Never argue with me personally ...
No Russian tells me how to vote, or tells me how to behave on a US message site.

I have already said that military pistols in Russia are banned for civilian use

You guys can't have guns?

Russian posts faggoty homeowner Husqvarna saw. I do real sawing my friend.

Most times with an MS192. My medium saw is Husqvarna. Big stuff, Stihl all the way.

Nice.
Was considering the Springfield XDMs. In 45. Any thoughts on it? You seem to have more knowledge.

I am not personally familiar with the Springfield .45 ... The only drawback I see is the 4" barrel.
I have an acquaintance (not a close friend) at the range that has one.
He likes it because it is easy to conceal and carry.

I think it is important to shop around until you find one the size and "feel" you want.
It's something you are going to have to be comfortable with ...
And too much of an investment to end up regretting your purchase.

Go to shops and handle the firearms ... Go ahead and check the action and whatnot.
Visit a range and see what folks are shooting ... If someone has something you may be interested in, ask them if you can shoot it.
I know that sounds odd ... But in reality I have found that the more knowledgeable sales staff and shooters are ...
The more eager they are to help you find a suitable "fit".

Of course everyone kind of has their favorites ... Keep that in mind and good luck finding yours.

Nah ... I don't have a Judge.
The only revolvers I have are a Colt Python .357 and a Charter Arms (hammered) 5 shot undercover .38.

But you are right about one thing ...
You could beat someone to death with the Colt I have if needs be ... That bad boy is a hog ... :21:

Dual-purpose!

I'm looking for something more gun and less hog. Not sure if you understand, it's a S&W model 10 with 4" barrel ..good to 30 feet!

I don't believe so.
Not a proper CC gun. Just too damn big. Made several types of loads from mankiller to plinking .
Lighter on powder so you can target shoot without ripping your wrist apart.
Looking for smaller semi. Just don't know a whole lot about them. Such as the pros or cons of striker fire vs hammer fired.

Nice.

Shot a friends. The barrel was actually 3.5 inches. Might be 3.8.
Felt comfortable and has palm safety to prevent accidental firing.
Belief its a striker fire mechanism.
A little pricier though.

Please let me know what the accuracy is like at 7 and 10 yards if you buy one or get a chance to shoot your friend's again.

Been a while since I was there. They got little ones now.
But generally felt on target. Recoil was minimal. Also avail in 9mm and 40 mag.

He also had a 50 cal. Dessert Eagle 12 inch barrel with scope .

HOLY CRAP!!!
Talk about a cannon. He taught me how to do loads. Used to be a gunsmith.
He does carry with the XDMs.

Found a pic. Currently at Fleet Farm for $549.00.
I have seen it for as low as $479.00.

Yeah ... I carry the Ruger P95 because it is bigger.
I sacrifice some of the concealment factor because I love the accuracy.

Minimal recovery time between shots ... Steady as a rock ...
And it is literally "point and shoot" accurate once you are familiar with it.

Will take a gander at it in my research.
I am partial to Ruger with my old revolver.

It's a single action revolver. A collector edition made in the 200th aniversay of American Indepence. Really dont think the military issues this weapon.

To add... Make my own ammo due to the cost of the rare caliber.

I always liked the .41 Mag. The Ruger is an excellent one. I've fired one a few times. Solid firearm. It was a decision between the .41 Mag and the .44 Mag. I went with the versatility of the .44.
