We will survive, we are after all Americans in a country with vast untapped natural resources, and most importantly unprecedented ability to produce food. The country will transition into isolation, coupled with a strong defense and national security system. The world wide implications could lead the world to the brink of war over natural resources, food, and demand to honor sovereign debt obligations with payment in gold or resources. Yep it will be ugly.
