In a riveting interview on TruNews Radio, Wednesday, private investigator Doug Hagmann said high-level, reliable sources told him the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is preparing for “massive civil war” in America.

“We have problems . . . The federal government is preparing for civil uprising,” he added, “so every time you hear about troop movements, every time you hear about movements of military equipment, the militarization of the police, the buying of the ammunition, all of this is . . . they (DHS) are preparing for a massive uprising.”

Hagmann goes on to say that his sources tell him the concerns of the DHS stem from a collapse of the U.S. dollar and the hyperinflation a collapse in the value of the world’s primary reserve currency implies to a nation of 311 million Americans, who, for the significant portion of the population, is armed. Continued

Comment: And the Police State keeps growing.

This is the second time today I've heard this from two different sources.

Sounds more like a massive revolt rather than a civil war.

And IMVHO could be avoided if Gov would cut spending and allow deflation...

There won't be a civil war because there are not two opposing sides. What there has a better chance of being is tribal war with many tribes at war with one another.

That's what some of the far left in this country is pushing for, as well as around the world.
Americans don't take the bait.

The majority of the productive class has too much to lose to get involved in an armed conflict. OTOH the gov. dependent class…It will be interesting to see their reaction to the forced cuts that are coming. Is OWS a preview?

Some are predicting a collapse of the American dollar and riots later this year. Not sure whether to take this seriously, but the government did buy 450 million hollow points. Of course, the public has been buying up guns and ammo. I don't think it's to start a coup or anything, but more a fear that the liberal administration would ban all guns if Obama gets re-elected.

Uprisings in Greece is, indeed, a problem, but an uprising of armed Americans becomes a matter of serious national security, a point addressed in a recent report by the Pentagon and highlighted as a vulnerability and threat to the U.S. during war-game exercises at the Department of Defense last year, according to one of the DoD’s war-game participants, Jim Rickards, author of Currency Wars: The Making of the Next Global Crisis.

Through his sources, Hagmann confirmed Rickards’ ongoing thesis of a fear of a U.S. dollar collapse at the hands of the Chinese (U.S. treasury bond holders of approximately $1 trillion) and, possibly, the Russians (threatening to launch a gold-backed ruble as an attractive alternative to the U.S. dollar) in retaliation for aggressive U.S. foreign policy initiatives against China’s and Russia’s strategic allies Iran and Syria.

Is crime up now? I do think more people are getting desperate and wonder how people are handling being unemployed and losing their homes. Of course, there are criminals who will steal even in the best of times, but I fear some people are being pushed over the edge. Things just get worse. And if our dollar loses value, it could get really ugly out there because those who are doing fine now may lose everything.

This isn't surprising and it's out of the Cloward-Piven strategy. We all knew that it would be nearly impossible to change America into a socialist country because we are used to liberty and freedom and will fight it, but the radicals have taken extreme measures to bring us down economically. That is the first important step to dismantling capitalism. In many other countries, socialism was bought in quietly one oppressive law at a time. Not so easy to fool Americans who aren't about to give up quietly. Many of us have learned from history and will continue to fight for our capitalist Republic. It's expected that we'll have the radical tactics used on us, like ridiculing and name calling to make dissenters sound like a bunch of lunatics.
