15 weeks with some exceptions is generous of Graham. This could be him coming to the realization that a harder line against abortion is a political losing cause.

If the hardliners who oppose all abortions can bite the bullet and back off, the GOP could extract themselves from the issue that's spinning so much against them.

Lindsay is a smart enough politician who can spin this compromise politically to make it look like a win.

But will the fanatical hardliners ever agree to bite the bullet and allow some fetuses to be whacked?
