I was unable to access the USMB site all day today (Friday, Nov. 12th).

Was it just me, or was the site down for everyone?

No problem here. Two possibilities, first if you were at work and the system utilizes filters the link could have been temporarily disabled by the IT people to check out the site. Second, your internet provider could have had a routing issue that had to be debugged and fixed.
Oh and one other, if your browsers anti-virus software was detecting something coming from the site it could have blocked your access until it no longer detected any potential malware.

    Most companies block octoporn.
