They really are great

And all are based on fairy tales that black people brought to America from Africa

They are all teaching basic truths. I love Brer Rabbit. Please, please don't throw me in that briar patch.

I had to move heaven & earth to get a VHS copy of SOTS in early 90s ( prior to eBay and Youtube and other options that emerged with internet )

10 years ago my friend paid $600 for a book of uncle Remus stories.

He's a national treasure. These woke people whatever that means are infuriating.

I got lucky and found it on Amazon. I'm guessing that it was probably a bootleg copy but who cares as I wasn't the one selling it. Anyways, adorable flick and such a shame that most kids won't ever be able to see it these days.
