If he didn't go beyond what he promised he wouldn't be in the fix he's in.

Sounds like it's gonna get dirty and the GOP is being secretive about what they're gonna do.

Sounds like Walker's got his work cut out for him!!

Probably. As noted in another thread, Walker's only defense for his overreach is that it was necessary to fix the state's economy. Except Wisconsin has now fallen to the back of the pack with four straight months of private sector job loss (as well as public sector losses piled on).

Net private sector job creation since Walker took office at the beginning of the year: 10,000.

true. he should have stuck with the issues he campaigned on. his saying it was about the budget was always a lie. the unions had agreed to the financial give-backs.

people like police and firemen. they like the teachers who teach their kids.

    he messed up.

Walker taking that prank call from the fake Koch brother didn't help. He came right out and said he was planning to bust the unions.

Exactly. He could have gone down as a tough but fair Governor who bargained hard and did a lot to save Wisconsin a lot of money. But he decided to go beyond that and (probably at the urging of the Koch Brothers) give the voters MORE than he campaigned on.

He could have made a good GOP POTUS candidate but now he's considered a "wing nut" and he'll be lucky to hold onto his current job.
