Yea it has been a very long time since a Republican held power in Virginia. It's a big win for sure. I had to laugh the other day when i saw a Hopey Changey on here screeching about what a "Disaster" the last Republican Governor was in Virgina. Yea that last Republican "Disaster" was Jim Gilmore who only had a 2% Unemployment Rate,No Debt,and significantly lowered Taxes. Yea he sure was some "Disaster." Yikes! If Gilmore was a disaster then all Virginians should be screaming for another disaster just like that.

Mark Warner is probably the most popular politician in the state and Jim Webb is a moderate enough democrat to attract moderate voters in Virginia... unless he kills a hooker or has gay sex at a truck stop.
