Probably best thing to do now that O's doubled the request for funding is give a speech crapping on the people he needs to agree to it.

Glad someone else is noticing. Mark Halperin wonders why the president is taking pot shots when he needs to convince Congress to give him a couple billion dollars. The set-up of our intentionally complex and unwieldy government system, which the president has often bemoaned, requires that a president do more than orate and pick fights. Painting one’s political adversaries as nasty haters who— oh, all right, occasionally love their families—is all well and good for turning out the base, but it doesn’t solve problems. To date, has there been a big, long-term project that President Obama has shown himself capable of ushering through the political process using things like strategy and persuasion? ObamaCare was almost entirely a product of Congressional Democrats and their dealings, not his. The stimulus, I suppose, in the hey day of his honeymoon. Neither one of those actually solved a problem, either. His election seems to be the only thing he can helm successfully.

Part of the reason Obama doesn’t get all that much done is because he insists on acting like a jerk when he’s asking for help. Clinton was often smarter than that. Bush was way better at convincing adversaries. And, part of the reason Obama gets away with it is because he knows people like Halperin won’t call him on it. So, cheers to him for actually saying it. For the media, and the fightin’ liberals of the Left, there’s much more joy in the frisson they get from presidential GOP-hating than there is in having him really try to solve something.

Bush was a lot better at creating adversaries. As for tone, does "Bring em on"* ring a bell?

* Denotes Bush happy for the enemy to bring it to the men and women in harms' way; not himself of course.

It doesn't help that Obama is a narcissist and here is the proof!
Not counting instances when he quoted a letter from a citizen or cited dialogue from a movie, President Barack Obama used the first person singular--including the pronouns "I" and "me" and the adjective "my"--199 times in a speech he delivered Thursday vowing to use unilateral executive action to achieve his policy goals that Congress would not enact through the normal, constitutional legislative process.

“It is lonely, me just doing stuff,” Obama said at the speech in Austin, Texas, according to the official transcript and video posted on the White House website.

“I’m just telling the truth now,” Obama told the crowd. “I don't have to run for office again, so I can just let her rip.
And I want to assure you, I’m really not that partisan of a guy.”

Poor poor Obama....
Woe is Obama! How sad ...

hey a cut and paste

AND? What are YOUR original totally ONE of a kind FACT or thought or opinion?

I like it when people cut and paste because at LEAST they have the guts to back up with the information that formed their opinion rather
then winging it, exaggerating blowing out of proportion.
IF cut and paste provides FACTs that help me form my opinion I'm all for it!
I totally ignore any comments made by ANYONE if they don't have the facts to support their comment..i.e. "cut and pasted"!!!

I can't stand listening to him and really can't even stand reading the ugly sermons he gives..

Just a downright hateful and ugly human being who loves having the TITLE of President..and that's about all

he knows nothing else but how to a, community AGITATOR

Republicans have thrown up blockades to anything and everything Obama since Jan. 21, 2009. From repairing the economy to protecting consumers against predatory financial institutions, from bolstering the nation's infrastructure to the budget, Republicans have stood in the way. All focused on making the president fail. Even past Republican ideas were shot down. It hasn't mattered to them how much damage they caused to the country or the American people. Everything was to undermining President Obama.

GOP Patriotism

reminded me of another article I read awhile back summing up Obama by, Mr. Thomas Sowell

Obama and the Art of Phoniness
The president is more concerned about the effect of his words than their relation to fact.

This president has tried every 'tone' in the book towards these Republicans to no avail.

Now he's treating them like the assholes they are and good for him.
Wrong like most libtrds this president is the one who doesn't want to work with the repubs. It is because of his stupidity he is where he is, the worst potus ever, but we could have told you idiots that a long time go.

Smart enough.

Oh, let me guess...the plurality of voters are all wrong and the minority was correct, right?

that almost 70% disapproval of him must be some fluke...

sheeesh, still with how Republicans are the fault of his miserable rating and the reasons he's such an thuggish jerk

Now you must know how so many of us feel about you. You're not only "a downright hateful and ugly human being", you're also one of the dumbest who posts on this message board.
