US ‘SABOTAGED KIM’S MISSILE LAUNCH’: North Korea’s embarrassing missile launch failure may have been caused by US cyber attack
THE US may have sabotaged Kim Jong-un’s missile test yesterday through a cyber-attack causing the rocket to spectacularly flop, according to a former British foreign secretary.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well that would be obviously a case of stopping Kim's war game failure

TENSIONS ESCALATE AS DEFIANT NORTH KOREA ‘MAKES UNSUCCESSFUL MISSILE LAUNCH’ DAY AFTER MASSIVE SHOW OF STRENGTH
The launch came as tension between North Korea and the United States rose to new level

Tensions escalate as defiant North Korea ‘makes unsuccessful missile launch’ day after massive show of strength

North Korea made an unsuccessful attempt to launch a missile the day after displaying a massive show of strength, South Korean and US military sources have said. Details of the attempted launch are scant, but it will be seen as a gesture of defiance by Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader. U.S. Pacific Command detected and tracked what it assessed to be a North Korean ballistic missile launch at 11:21 a.m.

America Concerned That North Korea Missiles Could Soon Strike Inland

The US has already admitted they can hack their missiles sometimes and blow them up... however it is too bad you can't hack an artillery gun, and when it comes to nuclear tipped missiles, I wouldn't want to take the chance of whether they can successfully hack them or not, especially when a smart leader would fire several at the same time.

If we can cyber attack their missiles, what is all the fuss about?
Every computer system connected to the internet can be hacked.

The problem is that these are mostly tricks and exploits of unmindful neglect, like tutor accounts with known passwords that come loaded in some software, or common OS vulnerabilities, or using social attacks that get users to give up passwords or store redirect viruses that send passwords to a third person.

Once used it clues the target of something being left unsecure and they then tighten up their apps or try to clean their system.

Which means in effect that using hacks to prevent these sorts of missile launches has a diminishing capability built into it.

The pundits last
night were saying this was a sub launched missile. Any truth to this?

That's all I could get on it at the moment :

North Korea has conducted five nuclear tests, including two last year. Recent satellite imagery suggests the country could conduct another underground nuclear test at any time.

The White House believes that Sunday's test involved a medium-range ballistic missile that failed within 4-5 seconds after launch, and that it did not involve an intercontinental ballistic missile, the foreign policy adviser said.

The North regularly launches short-range missiles, but is also developing mid-range and long-range missiles meant to target U.S. troops in Asia and, eventually, the U.S. mainland.
North Korean medium-range missile test fails, US says

And some of these dumb asses around the world want to put chips in their heads and hands. Do they seriously think this bs can't be hacked lmao.............Oh wait that's right they can't think that is their problem.

IT will give a whole new meaning to the phrase 'machine head', lol.
