WASHINGTON – The Obama administration is making Iranian students eligible to enter the U.S. for up to two years in an effort to improve relations between Americans and Iranians.

Previously, Iranian students and individuals enrolled in academic or professional exchange programs could only obtain a single-entry visa good for up to three months. Now they can enter and leave the U.S. multiple times and stay for up to two years.

I thought it was a good idea. I advocated it a couple of years ago.
