Update On The 2014 Gubernatorial Elections

Effective 2020 gerrymandering starts here...will the Dems win more state houses? Born To Run The Numbers Election 2014 2014 Governor Election Update Many Close Battles for State Houses

Have been following the 2014 Senate races but have found that the gubernatorial ones might be even more interesting. Some fascinating races in Connecticut, Kansas, Massachusetts, Florida and Georgia among others. I think I saw some newer polls just out showing movement in these and a few other states. It will be interesting to see which party wins each state.

It's looking like Abercrombie losing his primary worked out to be a good thing for the Dems...the race for Hawaii Gov went from lean GOP to Ige (D) leading in the last 3 polls.

One race no one seems to be paying much attention to is Arizona, which is actually quite competitive still. Duval (D) could easily win that one according to the extreme few polls that have come out of there.

Quinn in Illinois seems to be making a small, slow comeback, but he's still behind in the Gov race. It's an uphill climb for him.
