The UN, captive as it is to the United States - Israel's primary if not sole enabler - has nonetheless condemned Israel's demand that over one MILLION people evacuate Northern Gaza in 24 hours:

Israel warns half of Gaza's population to move south, UN says

U.N. officials in Gaza "were informed by their liaison officers in the Israeli military that the entire population of Gaza north of Wadi Gaza should relocate to southern Gaza within the next 24 hours," U.N. spokesman Stephane Dujarric said in a statement in New York.

"This amounts to approximately 1.1 million people," Dujarric added, or nearly half of Gaza's 2.3 million population. The areas north of Wadi Gaza include Gaza City, the enclave's largest city.

Dujarric said the U.N. "considers it impossible for such a movement to take place without devastating humanitarian consequences."

With over 500 Palestinian children murdered by Israel just this week, iIs it time for UN troops to intervene and prevent any more war crimes by Israel?

Even if it is possible, it is still considered a human right violation to forcefully displace civilians.

the country is only 25 miles long. they could probably walk 10 miles and be safe. Its better than being bombed, so worry about food and water secondary.

When hamas can do what they did and face no retaliation, than THAT is a human rights violation. The Jews have no choice but to defend themselves by taking the fight to Hamas. Otherwise they will be attacked again. Place the violation where it belongs. With Hamas leadership who was counting on this Israeli counter attack. They knew they would initiate it, which is why they are telling their own people to stay put in the face of air strikes. Fuck Hamas.

Those terrible Israelis are telling them to leave so they won't be killed in the crossfire and the good guys at the UN are telling them to stay so they can provide human shields to protect the Hamas terrorists.

No one is forcing them to leave. They are being advised to go south so they won't be killed in the crossfire.

The people being displaced will be civilians, not hamas militants. They are telling their people to stay because there is no way for them to evacuate with no food, water or gas and significant infrastructure damage that would make it impossible. Bibi knew that when he issued the order. He is the anti-Christ.

oh topic title..that's a laugh.

UN employees 7 to 9 of them killed in retaliatory strikes so they say.

I say...good start.

These UN astards are instrumental in illegals and undoubtedly many of the military age men from the middle east coming into our country, recent documents have revealed.

You mean as opposed to say, burning people alive or shooting babies in a crib? The game has now changed. The world needs to understand that their same old threats and shaming is OVER. That nation took a blow to the heart and they are about to break bad on ANYONE who gets in their way.

AS THEY SHOULD.

And how about Egypt offering emergency relief? its only 25 miles inside of gaza to the Israeli front. Where is international pressure for them to open their border? Last time I heard they also have food and water in Egypt. They could easily do something and are in position to do so.

There is no way the government of Israel can protect its citizens from increasingly serious attacks without destroying Hamas and the heart of the Hamas military structure is the vast tunnel network under Gaza City, obviously built to use the civilians living in the city as human shields, so this tunnel complex must be destroyed in order to destroy Hamas. As the tunnel complex collapses, it will take some surface buildings with it and there will be intense street fighting so for at least several days, Gaza City will be one of the most dangerous places in the world to be, but since the destruction of Hamas is the only way the Israeli government can protect the Israeli people from Hamas' increasingly serious attacks, there is no help for it.

It is nonsense to say the civilians cannot evacuate the city in 24 hours or that there is no food or water south of Gaza City. Half the population of Gaza lives outside the city so obviously there are resources south of the City. The UN's advice to remain in the City and be used as human shields to protect Hamas is both dangerous and irresponsible.

It is more warning than Hamas gave the innocent citizens of Israel prior to their sneak attack.

The UN isn’t “captive” to the US, in fact it’s anti-US despite the fact that the USA pays most of its bills and furnishes most of its military power. The UN has turned from a free association of democratic countries to a debating society for tyrants.
