Because in most cases the cop didn’t do anything wrong.

The cop in the Breonna Taylor case lied to get a warrant. You don't consider that wrong?

I posted another example. The cop arrests someone because he thinks the guy will do something illegal in the future.



It's a lot to watch so I will give a brief synopsis. A guy is shopping while wearing his motorcycle helmet on (not illegal). He buys a few things but Walmart calls the cops.

The guy obeys every command of the cops. Does everything they ask him to do. The "manager" wants to ban him from Walmart. He says OK. The cops decide that he is likely to go in a walmart anyway in the future and decides to arrest him.

He is suing.
