Also Ukraine and Russia renewed agreements for the Russian Black Sea fleet to be stationed on Crimean Peninsula (Seqastopol) for another 25 years, plus 5 years optional.
After dissolution of Soviets, Ukraine and Russia signed agreement for Sevastopol which was going to expire in the year 2017. Now it is extended by 25+5 years.
In return, Ukraine receives natural gas at a discounted price.
Red dot is Sewastopol, which was founded as a Marine city 220 years ago.
In 1991 the Soviet Black Sea fleet was divided between Ukraine and Russia.
