Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Sunday called for a global ban on the Russian state-controlled news outlet RT after one of its commentators called for Ukrainian children to be drowned for viewing Russians as occupiers under the Soviet Union.

The comments from RT presenter Anton Krasovsky came last week during a discussion with Russian science fiction writer, Sergei Lukyanenko. Lukyanenko, recounting his first visit to Ukraine in the 1980s, recalled children telling him they would live better lives if Moscow was not occupying Ukraine.

"They should have been drowned in the Tysyna (river)," Krasovsky interjected. "Just down those children, drown them."

Krasovsky suggested, alternatively, the kids should have been shoved into huts and burned.

"Governments which have still not banned RT must watch this excerpt," Kuleba wrote alongside a tweet of the video clip of Krasovsky. "This is what you wide with if you allow RT to operate in your countries. Aggressive genocide incitement (we will put this person on trial for it), which has nothing to do with freedom of speech. Ban RT worldwide!"

RT is state controlled media, so this is the voice of the Russian government calling for Ukrainian children to be drowned and burned alive. Clearly Russia has no values in common with western civilization.

Stupid cretins in the West do not know that such statements in relation to russians, including children, have been pouring in from various levels of ukrainians since 2014, including politicians, and if you tell them about it, they will not believe it and if they are pressed with evidence, they will say:"So what?"
It's also not interesting for the bastards from the West to know, that this statement has received widespread rejection and resentment in Russia, the bastards of the West will not believe it either, because they are idiots brainwashed by their TV propaganda from childhood. There's nothing more to talk about.

Where were Ukrainian 'ministers', the West, western presstitutes and corrupted lying scum aka politicians as eight years ago a well-known Ukrainian Journalist demanded in Ukranian CNN murder of all Russians in Donbass?

A Kiev journalist suggested killing 1.5 million residents of Donbass (video)
Ukraine does not need the inhabitants of Donbass, part of its population should simply be killed. This is the opinion of journalist Bohdan Butkevich.
He was invited to a Ukrainian TV channel, and he said in all seriousness that there are "a lot of absolutely unnecessary people" in Donbass.
- The population of the Donetsk region is about four million people, of which 1.5 million are unnecessary," Butkevich said. - We don't need to understand Donbass. We need to understand the Ukrainian national interest and just use Donbass as a resource. I don't have a recipe how to solve the problem of Donbas, but the most important thing to do is to simply kill some people.
The journalist said that he considers Donbas to be a depressive region with many problems, which Ukraine also does not need, as well as people.
Bohdan Butkevich is a Ukrainian journalist and columnist for the Ukrainian Week magazine.

It is an interesting question whether banning some propaganda outlets is an effective measure and how this corresponds with freedom of speech per se.

Freedom of speech should be endorsed, but from another point one should be responsible for accuracy of public information.

Tough shit. Who is Ukraine to talk? They took over all the media outlets in their own country to make sure they pump out pro Ukrainian horseshit 24-7. Well… At least in the parts of the country that still have electricity…

Ok, so you are a big supporter of a second Russian genocide against the Ukrainian people and especially supportive drowning Ukrainian children or burning the alive if they don't accept Putin's propaganda.

No, some dumbass shot his mouth off, with provocative rhetoric. And has since been fired for it.

But Ukraine is in NO position to criticize any nations handling of the media. None…

This did happen on state controlled tv, but while the language may have been a little too explicit to serve the needs of the state, it certainly does express the intentions of the Russian government in bombing civilian areas exclusively and attempting to deny Ukrainians civilians heat or electricity during the winter in order to cause massive civilian casualties. Putin's measure is clear: give me what I want or I will kill you and your family.

Just read Solzhenitsyn which 'Russians' carried Holodomor in reality

Better yet read the Encyclopedia Britannica article which describes how the famine was used by Stalin to try to exterminate Ukrainians who wanted independence.
