New energy-saving measures will apply in Germany from September 1st. The cabinet passed a corresponding ordinance, which stipulates, for example, that retailers keep the doors of their shops closed and that monuments are no longer illuminated. An overview.

Contract clauses in leases about a certain temperature are suspended for the six months. Tenants who want to save energy and turn down the heating should also be allowed to do so, as the Ministry of Economic Affairs explained.

No idea what you call "fake" in this context. An expression like "green energy" not exists in Germany. It exist some expressions like "green hydrogen" and "grey hydrogen" for example. And the questions are in this context the fossile energies and the nuclear energies. What you call "green" is here called normally "nachhaltig" = "sustainable". The expression "sustainable forestry" for example is hundreds of years old and means: if someone fell a tree then this one has also to plant some new trees so in a future in which this one will never live in - for example in 200 years - someone will be able to fell this tree and plant new trees. This system of sustainable economy had been very sucessfull since centuries and avoids depletion.
