It's a start. Though tepid. I hope they have more in the can in case this man or his daughter dies. 100's of British citizens were at risk in this brazen attack.
U.K. to expel 23 Russian diplomats over spy poisoning
British Prime Minister Theresa May says Britain will expel 23 Russian diplomats, giving them one week to leave, in response to the poisoning of a former Russian spy and his daughter in southwest England.
In a speech in the U.K.'s Parliament on Wednesday, May claimed the Russian state is guilty of attempted murder of former spy Sergei Skripal and daughter Yulia.
Although there has been no conclusive determination of who was behind the poisonings, May said: "There is no alternative conclusion other than that the Russian state was culpable for the attempted murder of Mr. Skripal and his daughter, and for threatening the lives of other British citizens in Salisbury.
"This represents an unlawful use of force by the Russian state against the United Kingdom."
May acted after Moscow ignored a deadline of midnight Tuesday night to explain how a nerve agent developed by the Soviet Union was used to target Skripal.
