twenny-five, thirty-some years ago, I had a coupla albums I'd put on the turntable at bedtime to help get my li'l ones to go off to dreamland...

it was a regular ritual... and they referred to these two albums as their "night-night music"... :)

Simon, my oldest, preferred the Mantovani album...

Megan, my li'l girl, preferred the Bach album...

and we'd have to take turns from one night to the other playing one or the other first...

'cause otherwise they'd fight over which album would get played first...

anyhow, here's a tune from Simon's night-night album...

I put the "fun" in dysfunctional family. :eusa_angel:

I read Tanya, Ryan and Danielle Lord of the Rings. When their friends were rushing out to see the movie my eldest daughter called me to tell me how much she loved me. And that she adored me for teaching her to believe that she could and would deserve an Aragorn in her life.

Tanya is reading baby Harley tonight as I post. Trinity is on her second go around. This time by herself.

It doesn't mean I don't cave to the new stuff. This Baba still sent off the required Justin Bieber bedroom for Christmas, but I'm going to make my girls pay the big one when I start buying instruments.

With an Al Yankovic flair. You know. Pay back for all the years I had to to listen to Duran Duran and Boy George.:eusa_angel:

So the voice that they heard as I stroked their hair, was mine.
