In the modern age.......having a strong military now is necessary..............We are cutting the military now, 80,000 troop reduction while still at War and with the world in flames......................Not to mention our military leaving as the War never ends and they are tired of it.....................

There are ways to cut the military without cutting the hell out of combat troops..............the military pays way too danged much money to line the pockets of their favorite lobbyists..............paying 2 to 3 times the amount equipment and ships could cost............It's a racket.
