Trump's ACA Cuts Could Cost US Nearly $200 billion

Republican fiscal responsibility, or any responsibility for that matter, is a myth. Republicans slash taxes and increase spending creating debt. Don't believe their BS.

The current system cost our economy a lot more then single payer would. The goal of the republican is to hand the entire system to a few huge companies and they'll be our masters.
They rail on about govt being incompetent, and fail to notice the private sector is even worse and bailed out by taxpayers all the time. Capitalism and the free market is a great thing that should continue. Believing the free market will magically take care of everything and that the free market is the best solution for everything though is complete idiocy.

“The Congressional Budget Office estimated that ending the cost-sharing payments would increase the U.S. fiscal shortfall by $194 billion over the next decade as subsidy outlays jump.”

Trump's Obamacare move could cost US nearly $200 billion

So much for the GOP being the party of ‘fiscal responsibility.’

Nothing is going to happen with it anyway. The mandates are still there, meaning that no one is going to be able to purchase "credibile insurance" from an out of state provider that meets those mandates without paying a much higher premium. It costs providers millions of dollars to move into states, and they normally select the healtiest states to move into. For example: Colorado is considered the healthiest state so they have several providers, whereas in unhealthy states there are fewer providers and lack the competition.

It does open the door wide open to a lot of FRAUD. They're going to be springing up all over the internet advertising medical insurance, not offering catastrophic insurance (hospital coverage,) at a very low cost that Americans will get suckered into.

Fraud is what they want. See Trump university.

Remember also, it's congress that holds the purse strings, so I think this was just another one of Trump's executive orders that are going to flop. It's done to keep his supporters in line. All this winning, I just can't take it anymore--:badgrin:

or, put another way .... "Cutting subsidies to insurance companies will cause subsidy outlay to jump"

Liberal logic, I guess ...

Well maybe you should call your congressman and tell them to appropriate the money so they can be legally paid. Congress doing their job, what a concept!

You prefer single-payer so the government can be our masters.
