The US and the Taliban have signed an "agreement for bringing peace" to Afghanistan after more than 18 years of conflict.

The US and Nato allies have agreed to withdraw all troops within 14 months if the militants uphold the deal.

President Trump said it had been a "long and hard journey" in Afghanistan. "It's time after all these years to bring our people back home," he said.

Talks between the Afghan government and the Taliban are due to follow.

Under the agreement, the militants also agreed not to allow al-Qaeda or any other extremist group to operate in the areas they control.

Things don't currently look good in Afghanistan. What do you think?

Nice try. Fucktard Biden is Commander in Chief. Anything Trump put together was null and void the day Biden became President.

Biden Delivers on Trump’s Afghan Exit as the Taliban Surges

Donald Trump made the politically popular pledge to bring U.S. troops home from the nation’s longest war. Now Joe Biden is delivering on the promise -- and reaping growing criticism over the grim results that are unfolding in Afghanistan.

The U.S.-trained Afghan military is shrinking back as Taliban insurgents seize provincial capitals and reimpose their fundamentalist views. As they take towns and commandeer security checkpoints, waves of desperate people are fleeing their takeover. The situation is an especially difficult challenge for President Biden, who has committed to champion human rights and democratic values.

Shitting Bull, you gals need to get your lies straight. You have some Dims posting threads now praising Biden for pulling out and making the decision to leave Afghanistan. Yet you have a thread saying it's Trump's fault.

So which is it? Biden's decision or Trump's fault? I will wait for your Overlords to tell you what to say. :D

So you think even the Taliban knows Biden stole the election...

A simplistic and rather ignorant statement. ANYTHING that the previous POTUS does has ramifications into the next elected leader's term. A rallying point that "they (the USA) went back on their word" wouldn't be out of the question. Why don't you try actually reading the article for details instead of these willfully ignorant MAGA knee jerk reactions? Couldn't hurt.

I think the Fucktard screwed the pooch since he left Americans stranded in Kabul, and allowed the Taliban to free thousands of Al Qaeda and ISIS fighters that were being held at Bagram Air Base, instead of ensuring that the Taliban went by the agreement....

Then to top it off, the Pervert-in-Chief let the Taliban have our military equipment!!!

But you can't say the Magical Muslim Faggot didn't warn us about Biden!!!!

From your link:

What's in the agreement?

Within the first 135 days of the deal the US will reduce its forces in Afghanistan to 8,600, with allies also drawing down their forces proportionately.

How many troops did Veggie Joe leave in Afghanistan? I'm not talking about the thousands he has had to send back in because of his clusterfuck. How many did Biden leave there in his plan?

Funny that maybe the best thing Trump ever did for America is the thing the Trumpbots want to forget the most. It sucks for Afghanistan though. At least Biden had an idea what withdrawing from Afghanistan meant.

Sleepy Joe is the one who fucked up the process, that's the point.

Instead of consulting with President Trump to get instructions, he tried to do it on his own, and failed miserably.

Biden should have just delayed the withdrawal until the Trump got back in. This is really the business of adults.

Dude, no thinking person is buying your bullshit that this Biden clusterfuck has anything to do with Trump.

You should stop now because you look like an idiot for trying to sell it.

Trump had to be sued to even allow transition meetings. Word is the ones that happened were less than productive. What the hell are you talking about?

That isn't how the US Government works. The President isn't a king. I know, in your fantasy world, everyone gets to do whatever they want to. FREEDOM!! But in reality, that has never been true, not in the history of the human race. See, the way the government is set up, the primary function of the Executive office is to enforce the existing laws. It also negotiates agreements with foreign countries then upholds those agreements. Congress writes the laws, not the Executive branch. The President does just do whatever he fucking feels like cuz he woke up in a mood that day.

In the U.S. we have this habit of honoring agreements signed by previous administrations. It creates continuity and is why other countries are willing to work with us. We don't change the rules every election cycle.

And the Afghanistan government was well aware that the U.S. was leaving Afghanistan. It didn't just suddenly happen.

Trump was to withdraw US forces from Afghanistan, but lacked the courage and conviction to do so.

President Biden had the courage and conviction, and made the difficult choice to end America’s involvement in a failed, illegal war where the Afghan government and military had no intention of becoming self-sufficient.
