Trump Signed Legal Documents He Knew Included False Voter Fraud Numbers, Judge Says

Yeah right .. Bjden received almost 12 million more popular votes than Obama ever received ... and during the covid fiasco.

We all should regret the integrity of the 2020 election and the imbecile likely lost somewhere in the White House.

America wanted Trump out that bad. Not to mention, you can't find millions of illegal votes to support your delusions.

Trump thought he could get away with his crime by hiding behind attorney-client privilege. But that privilege is revoked under the crime/fraud exemption.

Oopsie! Busted!

“The emails show that President Trump knew that the specific numbers of voter fraud were wrong but continued to tout those numbers, both in court and to the public,” Carter wrote. “The Court finds that these emails are sufficiently related to and in furtherance of a conspiracy to defraud the United States.”

[snip]

In March, Carter said Trump “more likely than not” committed federal crimes in trying to obstruct the congressional count of electoral college votes on Jan. 6. That determination came in a ruling addressing scores of sensitive emails Eastman had resisted turning over to the House committee.

[snip]

In one email, Eastman wrote that Trump signed paperwork for a lawsuit in Georgia on Dec. 1 but has “since been made aware that some of the allegations” in it are “inaccurate.” Eastman then wrote that for Trump to sign new paperwork for that lawsuit “with that knowledge (and incorporation by reference) would not be accurate.”

But, Carter wrote, “Trump and his attorneys ultimately filed the complaint” with the knowingly inaccurate numbers. Carter also wrote that Trump signed a legal document, under oath, attesting to the court in Georgia that the numbers “are true and correct” to the best of his knowledge.
Carter has ordered Eastman to disclose more than 30 documents sought by the House committee by 2 p.m. on Oct. 28.

What exactly is the crime here, assuming this is true? He lied about thinking the election was stolen? Ok, then what happens? He goes to prison for lying? I dont believe lying is a crime, un less its under oath, and even then it rarely results in actual time in jail.

Im not understanding the significance of this, but im willing to listen to anyone who can explain it.

He tried to illegally overturn a free & fair election he lost.
That isnt what this article is claiming. This article says that he lied about believing the election was stolen.

I am the strongest man in the Universe. What exactly is the punishment for lying? Am i going to jail now?

Did he shoot someone on Fifth Avenue?

If not, the flock will protect their saint.

The question I answered was why is Trump a traitor.

Clinton avoided jail by accepting a plea deal.

That's the point you tried to make??

Talk about a failed whataboutism.

:lmao:
How is this a failed "whataboutism"? If you want Trump to do any more time than Clinton, that would be hypocritical, much like how hypocritical it is for you all the demand he go to prison for documents, which the OTHER Clinton did and got no time for. Does your party even care about hypocrisy, or do you at least not want to be hypocrites?

I have no problem with Trump avoiding jail by admitting he lied and taking a plea deal. Let him do that then.

And the other Clinton didn't take documents.

Seems you have no defense for Trump's purported crimes other than to hunt for Democrats you think got off.

Ya just gotta love the arrogance of these Rump apologists... making excuses-for and trying to laugh-off their traitorous Orange Führer's misdeeds.

For their ignorant, arrogant sociopathic demigod... thinking of future clothing fashion... "Orange is the New Black"... a well-deserved and fitting end.

I suspect that we'll see indictments and an order-to-surrender sometime in the not-too-distant future.. and that will be a great day for the Constitution.

The big difference between Benedict Arnold and Rump is that Rump has too much of a vested interest in staying, to ever consider fleeing to Britain.

Not that the UK would have him.

But maybe Rump can skeddaddle to Russia, or Belarus, or China, or North Korea... and operate a Gubmint-in-Exile within his tiny little mind. :21:

You can't prove that Biden honestly won and I can't prove that he lost.. and life goes on

Biden's win was proven the same way every election is proven -- alk 50 states counting the votes, canvassing the election, certifying the results, recounting when mandated by law. And in some cases, auditing election equipment, auditing ballots, you know, what you mindlessly refer to as yada, yada, yada.

What you can't do, and not a single person has done in 2 years -- is prove there were millions of illegal votes cast for Biden.

What a pity, huh?

Claiming election fraud is not a crime.

Lying in court is.

Need more help understanding this?
You're the one that needs help.
Perhaps you can explain why certain swing state precincts stopped tabulating votes in synchronization in the early morning when and where Trump was in the lead.

GO!!!!!!!
