Green Beret Charged With Murdering Suspected Taliban Bomb-Maker

Good Lord! This decorated hero and his men were doing what they were assigned to do. And the Army already reviewed this and cleared him of any guilt.

Why the hell is it being reopened now?

At the request of many, I will be reviewing the case of a ‘U.S. Military hero,’ Major Matt Golsteyn, who is charged with murder,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “He could face the death penalty from our own government after he admitted to killing a Terrorist bomb maker while overseas.”

Since when is it murder to kill a bomb maker? A man who has no problem making bombs to kill US soldiers, women and kids.

The Major should get a medal.

Murder my ass.

Golsteyn's victim was a suspected bomb maker.

If the US wasn't occupying his country, would the victim even qualify as a suspected bomb maker?

"President Trump tweeted Sunday that he would 'review' the case of Maj. Matt Golsteyn, a Green Beret who’s been charged with premeditated murder.

"After Golsteyn told the CIA in 2011 that he killed an Afghan man he suspected of being a bomb maker in 2010, the military reprimanded him but did not press murder charges.

"But after Golsteyn admitted to the killing in a 2016 interview on Fox News, the Army reopened an investigation and recently charged him with murder"

Trump has the chance to right a wrong against a fine soldier and combat veteran. Perhaps he can see who is
behind this vindictive persecution of Golsteyn.

Maybe they should open a case on John Kerry for chasing an unarmed V.C. teenager and killing him with a .45 and then self recommending himself for a Silver Star.
