Trump notched a critical win in South Carolina’s 2016 primary, where he received nearly one-third of the vote in a splintered field. This time, the former president could face opposition in the state from two South Carolina-based Republican rivals: Sen. Tim Scott and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, both of whom are potential candidates. God bless Trump! God bless America!

Trump won't have the crowds he had in 2016. NFW.
Probably not... and maybe never again. However, he will draw a good crowd. Many people go for the entertainment value, even if he isn't their number 1 choice.

This is good. Its good for Boomers to stay mobile and get out of the house once in a while.

When is Trump planning to hire campaign staff and build his campaign? He doesn't have all his White House staffers and RNC support staff to do his work this time. Political observers have commented that he hasn't hired anyone to ramp up the campaign.

Also, given Trump's financial situation, and two Presidential campaigns which left communities where rallies were held, on the hook for unpaid facility fees and local policing costs, how welcome will his rallies be?
