Proof?

Which President was more concerned about 1 million barrels of oil traveling one mile on the open ocean that is described by David Mosley, public affairs specialist for the U.S. Coast Guard in Alaska, says that the thousands of ships that already navigate its waters each year face "winter hurricanes" with 40-foot seas and 100-knot winds that appear with little advanced notice. In a typical year, at least one ship gets into trouble.
"A vessel will have some sort of mechanical or physical issue that then puts them at the mercy of the weather and the waves."
The Environmental Dangers of Not Building Keystone XL

VERSUS

700 barrels traveling one mile through the Keystone pipeline that joins more than 185,000 miles of liquid petroleum pipelines, nearly 320,000 miles of gas transmission pipelines, and more than 2 million miles of gas distribution pipelines to safely and efficiently move energy and raw materials to fuel our nation's economic engine.

The Keystone with 16 monitors per mile of the 1,179 mile route.. OR one monitor every 100 yards and
Keystone XL will use satellite technology to monitor 20,000 data points on the pipeline’s operating conditions.

So again, folks which president was more concerned about preventing another Exxon Valdez?

Hey all you environmentalists! You are so concerned about oil spills where are you on this issue?

I've not heard ONE concerned environmentalists argue against this reality!

Yes, but can't we just ban oil?

Then we can simply use the electricity that comes from the socket. No evil white male involvement...

Filthy Democrats should be more worried about actual spills. Hundreds of millions of gallons spilled into public waterways. So fouling the water it kills the fish, swimming has to be banned, and beaches closed. These spills are ongoing, ALARM!! Hint, its not an oil spill.

My electric car batteries are so much safer than oil. Sure they are so toxic they could kill all life on the planet but they are green.
