Democrats have spent an unprecedented amount of time & money on these Midterms. If they don't take Congress back, it will have to be considered a historic failure. A 'Titanic' blunder.

An unprecedented amount of time & money being spent smearing everyone. Soros may actually go broke funding these Midterms. Democrats have bet everything on taking Congress back. If they fail, they're finished for a long time.

Isn't this pretty much what every modern sitting President has done during mid-term elections?

It's certainly seems as though Democrats are treating this as a referendum on Trump so it's not surprising that Trump would treat it the same way in an attempt to turn out Trump voters.

Well generally in the offyear the potus' party loses seats. McConnell thought the SC and the tax cut would give him closer to 60. But it appears right now that the gop will hold TX, Tenn and NV
