Trump makes the senate midterms about him, and it looks like he'll stave off disaster

in the Red states. At least the polls in TN, Tex and now NV seem to tilt gop.

Trump’s midterm pitch: Vote for me

Isn't this pretty much what every modern sitting President has done during mid-term elections?

It's certainly seems as though Democrats are treating this as a referendum on Trump so it's not surprising that Trump would treat it the same way in an attempt to turn out Trump voters. :dunno:

Latest poll in Arizona has the Republican 6 points up for Flakes' Senate seat. Poll attributes it to "The Kavanaugh Effect"---Democrat/Socialists acting like complete asses because they didn't get their way. See Real Clear Politics.

Good news for America.

Tennessee polls have started breaking hard (R) as well.

mid terms are a reflection of a sitting potus acceptability ... they usually do well in states they carried in the general election ..

if the dems carry the house Trump wont be able to pass a fart for 2 years

If trump pulls this off and doesn’t lose the house, will he get credit or will Dems just say that voters are drinking the kook aid. All previous midterm history erased by a non politician. A dumb racist woman hating extremist adding to his following. Will there be more pumpkins or liberal heads exploding on Nov 6?

Democrats have spent an unprecedented amount of time & money on these Midterms. If they don't take Congress back, it will have to be considered a historic failure. A 'Titanic' blunder.

I'm preparing my happy dance for just this scenario.

They sure have put everything into winning Congress back. They've pulled out all the stops. They've stooped to all-time awful lows. If they don't take Congress back, they're finished for a long time. Their Impeachment fantasy would be dead, and Trump would likely be reelected. Everything is riding on them winning in November. If they don't, it would have to be considered the biggest failure in politics history.

Well Trump is sure campaigning hard and packing the halls.

I do believe the Reps will hang onto Congress and the Dems will be crying.

Now if they'd just cut spending.....

Is it just me or does it seem the Democrats started all this too early, and they may have an issue with waning enthusiasm?

Trump seems to be ramping up right around 1 month prior to the election, as does the rest of the Republican side.

they wont get the Senate so taking back Congress is nothing more than a misspeak on your part ...

Yeah, Democrats have put everything into winning Congress back. They've stooped to all-time awful lows. So much time & money spent smearing everyone. But they may have peaked too early. If they don't win Congress back, it will have to be considered the biggest defeat in politics history.

if they take back the House you can count on spending cuts - like I said Trump wont be able to pass a fart much less a spending bill.

Republicans are spending just as much as the dems on mid terms .... Trump is crusing around the Country in AF1 costing taxpayers a fortune.
